The area around and where More London was built has a rich and interesting history. From the 18th Century until the 1970’s the site on which the Estate is built, played an important part in London’s commerce and was known as London’s Larder or The Pool of London. Most of the food entered the city from ships and boats lining up along this part of the river, unloading their cargoes from all over the world.

More London Today

Since 2002 More London has transformed this part of London and is today a mixed-use business district and a recognised art and performance destination.
